Terms of Use

This site and the mobile applications and services available in connection with it (the “App”) are made available to you by Keerthi Bommareddy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) subject to these Terms of Use. By accessing, using, or downloading any materials from the App, you agree to follow and be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the App you agree to these Terms, including the practices described in our Privacy Policy. We may improve or change the products, services, features, and prices described in the App at any time without notice, and may modify or discontinue the App or any portion of it. By continuing to use the App you are indicating your agreement to the Terms and all revisions thereof. The App is not intended for and is not designed to attract children under 13 years of age.

2. Subscriptions & payments

Speech Assistant AAC offers a free tier with access to bundled default phrases and categories. Premium features require an active subscription:

  • Add custom phrases: create unlimited personalized phrases beyond the built-in defaults.
  • Add custom categories: organize your communication board with your own categories.
  • Custom symbols & images: attach your own photos or images to phrase tiles.
  • Personal voice recordings: record a personal voice for any phrase to replace text-to-speech.
  • Natural AI voices: generate lifelike speech audio for your phrases using AI voices.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Note: all purchases are final. We cannot issue refunds for purchases charged to your Apple ID; subscription management is handled through the Apple App Store.

3. AI features & generated content

Some features use artificial intelligence. AI-generated reply suggestions may be inaccurate or incomplete — you choose which reply to speak, and you are responsible for the messages you select and communicate. AI-generated voice audio is licensed for your personal use within the App. Free usage of AI features may be subject to daily limits, which we may adjust at any time. These features require an internet connection and may be modified, limited, or discontinued.

4. User conduct

All content you create or transmit through the App is your sole responsibility. You agree not to use the App to:

  • Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Harm minors in any way.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Upload content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights.
  • Upload unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, spam, or chain letters.
  • Upload material containing software viruses or malicious code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or the servers connected to it.
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

You also agree not to access the App through automated means such as crawlers, robots, or scrapers.

5. Electronic communications

When the App lets you send messages to us, use those channels only for their intended purpose. You agree that all notices and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

6. Proprietary rights

The App and any software used in connection with it contain proprietary and confidential information protected by intellectual-property and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the App, provided that you do not (and do not allow any third party to) copy, modify, or create derivative works from the App; reverse engineer or attempt to discover any source code; or sell, assign, sublicense, or transfer any right in the App. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, SERVICES, AND CONTENT AVAILABLE IN THE APP ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements; be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; produce accurate or reliable results; that errors will be corrected; or that head tracking or speech output will function accurately in all environments or for all users.

8. Limitation of liability

You expressly agree to release Keerthi Bommareddy and her affiliates from any and all liability connected with your activities, and promise not to sue for any claims, actions, injuries, damages, or losses associated with your use of the App. In no event shall we be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or connected with your use or misuse of the App, any delay or inability to use it, anything obtained through it, or reliance on the App as a primary or emergency communication tool.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our affiliates harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit through the App, your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

10. Governing law

This App is operated from India. We make no representation that content in the App is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Any claim arising out of or related to use of the App or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the claim arose or be forever barred, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

11. General provisions

  • No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and us as a result of these Terms or your use of the App.
  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your use of the App.
  • Failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of it.
  • If any provision is found invalid, the other provisions remain in full force and effect.
  • You may not assign or transfer your obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
